Reynard Alcohol and Chlorhexidine Prep Pads are effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. impregnated with 70% Alcohol and 2% Chlorhexidine. Larger than most prep pads, these individually sealed sterile prep pads contain high levels of moisture, cover large areas and are ideal for topical cleansing prior to injection.

Chlorhexidine is a chemical antiseptic and is also bacteriostatic so it kills both gram-positive and gram-negative microbes. Chlorhexidine has been proven to:

• Increase biocidal activity for both bacteria and fungi
• Broadens the spectrum of activity
• Becomes more effective against a wider range of organisms
