Domestic Violence Resources Services Mackay have been supporting clients that are both affected by Domestic Violence (DV) but also COVID-19. Our services, provide free counselling for women and children through generalist counselling, and children’s counselling. We also offer educational groups throughout the year, Family Life program for Mums, Dads and Bubs and well-being groups.

Our Family Life Program supports mothers and fathers with young children. The brand new men’s body wash and soaps we were lucky enough to receive, will go to support the men in this program.

A staff member said: “We are very lucky to be able to give some of our dads these items, as we never receive any donations for men at the centre.”

Additionally, the kid’s jewellery donated to us will be included in packs for children attending our service. A special treat like this goes a long way in making children feel special and thought of.
