DreambuildersCare is a social enterprise providing a number of programs including a low-cost supermarket, an op-shop, our FIllYourCup Cafe and by selling Pallet Furniture items to support our community.
Recently we were connected to Harvey Norman and Jeanswest by Good360 and received a number of furniture items and new clothing. These items were distributed throughout the community to the families and individuals who most needed them.
One family had been relocated due to Family Domestic Violence. The mother had 3 children – including twin boys with a disability. After 18 months she had just managed to purchase beds for her boys – they had been sleeping on mattresses on the floor. Thanks to the Harvey Norman donation we were able to provide a brand new couch for them to use. Prior to receiving this gift, they had been sitting on their bedroom pillows in the lounge room.
Another red couch from Harvey Norman was placed in our Community Cafe and is very popular with our community members – photographed is Jess and her support worker working on some speech therapy with her new speech iPad.
The third & fourth photos are of our Community Meals Cafe – here we made available the clothes donated by Jeanswest to the people in our community who needed them.

DBCare is a Low-Cost Supermarket & Op-Shop offering Emergency Relief Food, Free Bread, Fruit & Veges daily and a FREE Community Meals Cafe 4 x nights a week serving a 2-course hot meal to all our guests. We also offer blankets, toiletry/sanitary products,
