Empowering children in need

Domestic Violence Resources Services Mackay have been supporting clients that are both affected by DV but also COVID-19. Our services also know as Mackay Women's Services provides free counselling for women and children through generalist counselling, domestic and family violence, sexual assault and children's counselling. We also offer educational groups throughout the year, Family Life program for Mums, Dads and Bubs and well-being groups.

We see many clients here including children and with the support of Good360 we were able to give 30 children affected by Domestic and Family Violence a Junior Empower Pack full of goodies. These children have been very excited to receive such wonderful gifts and are very thankful for the support. These items were very popular and as we see so many children, these were all given out within 2 weeks.
