Domestic Violence Resource Service (Mackay & Region) Inc. has been supporting clients that are affected by both domestic and family violence as well as COVID-19.
Our services, also known as Mackay Women's Services, provides free counselling for women and children through generalist counselling, and children's counselling. We also offer educational groups throughout the year, Family Life programs for Mums, Dads, bubs, and wellbeing groups.
On a daily basis, mothers with bubs come into the centre for support in regards to emergency relief. Items they need include food vouchers, fuel vouchers, toiletries, sanitary items, baby formula, baby wipes, and nappies.
The middle-sized 3 and 4 nappies are the most popular sized nappies that are used in our centre. Needless to say, we felt incredibly lucky to have received these from Good360! This support from Good360 means we’re able to give out nappies to those that reach out to us.
We are so very grateful for the wonderful support of The Nappy Collective and Good360 for providing items to give to our families in need.
