Bringing Smiles To Sick Children

Cystic Fibrosis Queensland is the peak community not for profit charity working with and for people living with cystic fibrosis across Queensland, the Northern Territory and northern New South Wales. We advocate for the entire cystic fibrosis community and seek to raise much needed awareness of this debilitating condition. 90% of our income relies on fundraising.

People with cystic fibrosis can spend between four weeks to four months in hospital receiving treatment every year. This is especially tough for children who suffer greatly from the isolation and boredom. Every Friday, we deliver Boredom Buster Bags to children in hospital. The bags are filled with age and gender-appropriate games, as well as treats to eat.

The toys we order from Good360 go directly to children in hospital to help them fight the boredom associated with long hospital stays. We distribute the makeup to the older girls during their hospital stays to give them something interesting to do to entertain themselves during a long hospital admission.
