Supporting the most vulnerable during COVID-19

Jesuran Welfare Services is an organization that works with people seeking asylum and refugees that are living in the local community and experiencing financial hardship. The program supports vulnerable individuals and families, who may be at risk of homelessness as they have no income and have minimal support options available to them.

Jesuran is resourced through a dedicated group of volunteers and supported by organizations like Good360. Without the generous help of organisations like Good360, we will not be a position to help these vulnerable people.

Every Tuesday approx 10 volunteers work tirelessly with the collection of food and goods, sorting and packing these items and distributing the packages to 75 families. Due to COVID-19, these provisions been highly useful as many of these refugees have lost their income source, putting them in a very difficult position to feed their families. Many of them do not get any help from the government.
