Do I cut my hair or buy bread?

Life Without Barriers provides care and support services across Australia in urban, rural and remote locations. Our services include family support and out-of-home care, disability services, home and community care for older Australians, support to refugees and asylum seekers. We also work in the areas of mental health, homelessness and youth justice and we have a strong commitment to Reconciliation and delivering culturally sensitive programs.

Many women seeking Asylum can only dream of being pampered and getting a new hair cut or make up professionally applied, they just do not have the money to spoil themselves, it is a decision these women are faced with every day, "do I cut my hair or buy bread and feed my family". But thanks to the donations we received through Good360 we were able to organise a women's day event made extra special by the amazing products we received. The women saw the hair products and were very familiar with the L'Oreal brand but never thought they would one day be able to use this product. These women were so excited to finally have access to quality shampoo and treatments and were overwhelmed with the generous items made available to them.
