At Anglicare, we’re proud to support our community with a diverse range of services and programs covering aged care, mental health, youth support, disability, homelessness, foster care and family. Everyone we encounter in the community has a unique story to share, and it’s our privilege to offer comfort and care when people need it most.
Anglicare has recently been working with the communities which were heavily affected by bushfires during January 2020. Many families lost their homes and livelihoods, and the community has a long road to recovery ahead.
The donations from BIG W have helped us set up community hubs with all kinds of items that families need. We have supplied football boots to community sports clubs, beanies and scarfs to colder climates like Batlow, shoes to south coast areas for people who didn't even realise that all of their shoes were destroyed in the fires.
