The Kensington Neighbourhood House Food Share Pantry was established in May this year in response to food insecurity caused by COVID-19. It provides an opportunity for locals to contribute food or to take what they need. The concept is simple "give what you can, take what you need".
The pantry is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for local residents to come and get non-perishable food and personal care products at a time that suits them. It's anonymous and open to everyone. We feel this is important as there are many people needing to access support for the first time, so they can do so with dignity.
We have been able to use the donations from Good360 including toothpaste, nappies, soap and more to help stock the pantry. These items have proved to be very popular.
Thank you Good360, Colgate-Palmolive and The Nappy Collective!
