Wiggle into lockdown

With the impact of COVID-19, we had to close down our children's storytime. During COVID lockdown our small community has been very isolated. This has been very difficult for young children to understand. As a way of creating interest, we initiated a spoonville project and had tubs of the Wiggle books as free giveaways in a plastic tub. Children who were just looking or who were adding spoons were all welcome to take a book to read at home. With no local shops or library service, this was for many the only opportunity to get a new book.
