600 Christmas Hampers

This year has been incredibly tough for the people we support across Victoria, many of whom were self-isolating in their homes, families homeschooling their kids and clients struggling with financial stress.
Each December we run a hamper drive. This year, 600 hampers were delivered to people who need a little festive cheer across our affordable homes, disability services, at-home aged care, specialist school St Paul’s College and our early childhood programs.
Our volunteers and people we support all contribute to making or donating items for the hampers, including those living in our residential aged care and retirement living communities. Handmade facemasks, decorations, bonbons, Christmas baubles and magnetic pegs were just some of the items lovingly created. Our staff also volunteer to pack and deliver the hampers to the many sites across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
We were thrilled to have the support of Good360, where we sourced LEGO, toys, hand and face cream, makeup, magazines, jewellery, men’s hygiene products, soap and body wash to fill our Christmas hampers. Many thanks to Good360 and their donors from our community.
