June 2021
CWA received many boxes of goodies through the Good360 program in October 2020. There were various products, upmarket lunch boxes, men's deodorant, socks, makeup, water bottles, hair care products, chocolates, LEGO sets, coolers, plates, earrings, necklaces, earplugs, magazines, body lotion, sunscreen, toothpaste, thongs, clothing etc.
CWA's Community Coordination team volunteers have a very close liaison with many School Chaplains, Refuges, Hospitals, and Aged Homes.
Our Community Coordinator leader was kept busy packing up these wonderful items and distribute them to the lucky recipients.
To the shelters we support, Christmas came early. A great whoop from the kids when they saw the gifts. The LEGO Toys and chocolate products were a great hit. Each child also received a Junior Empower Pack as a bonus!
Magazines and books for the mums to sit back and enjoy, and an Empower Pack containing cosmetics, jewellery, hair care products and even mini teapots for everyone. We did not forget the men and gifted Care packs consisting of thongs, water bottle, shampoo, soap, toothpaste and deodorant.
Thank you, Good360 and the donors Huggies and LEGO Australia, for spreading so much joy among our community.
