Spreading The Christmas Cheer

At Technology for Ageing and Disability ACT (or TADACT) we believe every child has the right to ride a bike. We also work hard to make sure that people living with disabilities or who are ageing have the tools and equipment they need to live fulfilled lives and reach their full potential.

That is why we design and make customised assistive equipment that is not available on the shelf of a store or modify commercially available equipment to make it better suit the person’s needs.

The Christmas Hampers we received from Good360 was an unexpected joy for our clients. In the week prior to Christmas our team invited about 30 of our senior clients – those who would normally spend Christmas alone – to a fully catered lunch to celebrate the festive season. Each attendee was given a hamper to take home and enjoy.

The remaining 20 hampers were given to our families as they came in to pick up their equipment and purchases. Jared (pictured) was thrilled to be able to take home a hamper to share with his family.
