With affordable housing availability becoming few and far between, we are seeing more and more people sleeping rough. We see these people coming into our free community lunch and are wanting to provide them with something to keep them safe and warm, but also to help them feel a little bit better during this season of their life.
Ipswich Assist is using resources and items available through Good360 to create "homeless packs" for those who are sleeping rough. These packs include a sleeping bag, a pillow, a water bottle, a shirt, hygiene essentials, something to keep the mind active (activity book or card game), thongs, socks, and a bag to keep it all in. Thank you to Good360 and the donors who made this possible.
