The Smith Street Unit works to provide a wholistic approach to the education of students with diagnosed behaviour difficulties and mental health conditions in the Illawarra region. The students work closely with staff to achieve educational and socio-emotional goals through a consistent behaviour management and reward system.
These goods we received through Good 360 were used to:
- Provide fresh and respectable plates and bowls to be used in the students breakfast and lunch program that the Unit provides and are used daily.
- Tangible rewards for positive behaviour in the school and stored for gift hampers (looking toward the end of year holidays to ensure everyone regardless of SES status has some kind of gift)
- A very necessary resource for hygiene and sun safety for active teenage boys!
This was one of our first orders through Good 360 and we (and the students our Unit care for) are very thankful to Good360 and the companies they work with!
