Flood relief items help the community

With the generous help of Good360 donors, QYFSS was able to assist members of our community and some of our clients who were affected by the recent floods and storms that caused a lot of damage to homes, properties and household items.

Kids were kept entertained with new colouring pencils and we were able to replace some essential items like bath towels/washers/bath mats, block out curtains, sheet sets, and dinner sets.

We gave out some sleeping bags and blow up mattresses as well as items to help clean units/houses that had been flooded like brooms, dustpans & brush, mops, buckets, disinfectant wipes and window squeegee's.

All these items helped immensely with Samantha telling staff that although there was a lot more to do, knowing she had assistance got her through a very low time.
