The homes of two families with small children were inundated by water in the recent floods and lost the majority of their possessions including electrical appliances, heaters, bedding, clothes and toys.
We sourced 2 X BIG W $500 Gift Card from the Good360 and Big W Flood Relief Program and gave them the families mentioned.
Our Home-Start Family Worker, Tania transported them to Big W Cessnock where they redeemed their $500 Gift Card for brand new products.
One dad said, “This is so kind of Big W We feel like it’s a start to getting our life back to normal. The kids had lost all their toys and they’re over the moon now with this generous donation.”
