Seafarers are the unsung heroes of the COVID-19 pandemic. Quarantine restrictions and border controls mean that all shore leave is cancelled. This has resulted in seafarers having to endure up to a year onboard their ship without setting foot on dry land. Our global economy would grind to a halt without seafarers.
Our group of volunteers prepared Care Packs filled with chocolates, lollies, board games, clothes, toiletries and other goodies. We delivered Care Packs to every vessel that visits the Port of Bunbury. In order to do this, the donation of PPE received Good360 has provided us with the protection our volunteers need to keep themselves, the crew and the wider Australian community COVID-19 safe.
We receive no government funding and rely on the goodwill of our donors. Thank you Good360 for helping us show some love and compassion to tired and weary seafarers.
