Helping to fit out a home!

Thanks to donations from Good360 & other product donors, RIMERN has set up 7 homes since June, providing furniture, appliances and homewares clients of member welfare agencies, including a man coming out of jail, an African mum with 4 tiny kids under 6 who had been homeless, a refugee young man coming out of supported living into his own apartment, an indigenous 'stolen generation' lady whose home had been destroyed by rodents, an older lady who had been homeless but been helped into social housing, two other refugee families.. and the list just keeps growing. While most of the donated goods were second hand, things like sheets sets, comforter sets, cleaning goods, pillowcases and face washers were all brand new from Good360. It really put smiles on the faces of all who received them, something new is something really special when times are tough! We respect our clients' privacy so never publish pictures of them but all our clients are 'seeking human kindness' so this picture represents them all.
