Extended Families Australia is tremendously grateful to Good360 Australia for the cleaning products and PPE that we’ve received.
The workers were able to safely deliver the goods to vulnerable families.
One of our families is a magnificent single mum with 8 children in her care. Three of her children live with a disability. COVID-19 restrictions in Melbourne have drastically changed their home dynamics. Mum has had to play different roles such as teacher, carer, cook, counselor, and so on, in order to keep her children safe and entertained. The new routine has had a significant impact on Mum’s mental health, and overall wellbeing as she is not having a lot of time for self-care. Additionally, the family relies on Centrelink payments which often brings limitations to their spending. Mum was incredibly grateful for the cleaning and PPE supplies, as these will allow her to establish a hygiene routine to minimize the risk of COVID in her family.
