Our Lockdown Family

Although we are rural Victoria and not in lockdown, many of our community lunch members have been unable to travel to Melbourne and are missing time with their families.
Our community lunch is for those who are socially isolated and lockdowns have had a significant impact on their daily lives. We wanted to give this group a care package and the Good360 Seniors Empower packs provided us with the opportunity to do this. We also added additional PPE items from Good360 including face masks, hand sanitiser and wipes.
We are also providing these packs to people who use our emergency food relief. Getting to the distribution stage itself has been a journey for us. The packs arrived while we were in lockdown and were unable to pack them. We came out of lockdown, packed the Seniors packs and went back into lockdown again. We have only just reached a stage where we can open our programs and are able to distribute the packs.
