Access to Face Masks Help Families Navigate COVID-19 Restrictions

Face Masks have been in place as part of the public health measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus. However, for some vulnerable families having access to clean, hygienic face masks may be limited. Thanks to Good360 and their wonderful donors, Infinity Community Solutions have been able to regularly access Face Masks and other hygiene products such as hand and surface sanitizing items.

Face Masks, Surface Wipes and Hand Sanitizers have been distributed to vulnerable families throughout South East Queensland. Recipients have been grateful for being able to access items like Face Masks allowing them to safely move about their day being able to follow State Health Guidelines.

Staff have been given feedback that consumables are well received in the community by families who would normally not have access to such items. Infinity Community Solutions wishes to thank Good360, Big W, SC Johnson and the Anonymous Donor who have all contributed to these and other items recently obtained for our families in need.

The KICS Kinship and Foster Care Services really appreciated the Lulu Lemon masks and were able to provide these to all our carer families during the OMICRON wave.

Managing through COVID has been difficult for many families and being able to support with masks really helped. Our team wearing the masks also role modelled to the children and young people who were struggling to understand why they had to wear masks.
