Prizes brings smiles

I manage the Library at St Mary’s College Primary in Broome Western Australia. We are located in the remote Kimberley region of the state. We have around 490 students from Kindy to Year 6 from diverse backgrounds. As a school, we are strongly focused on Literacy, and I am passionate about putting books in kids’ hands and encouraging reading at every opportunity. We have a strong reading culture at the school and each year I make up prize packs for those students who read the most in every class. Good360 has kindly provided some LEGO mix trays which are hugely popular as prizes and together with a book and some stationery, are great incentives for reading.
A couple of years ago Good360 provided enough books for each child to choose one and that was an amazing gift. Our students were so excited particularly as one of the books was by a local author! We are so grateful for the generosity of the donors and Good360 for making all of this possible!
