Victorian Scout Jamboree

In December 2021 after three years of planning 4000 Scouts along with 1000 Venturers and 1000 volunteer Leaders headed to Elmore Victoria to take part in a 10 night camp.

We were lucky enough to be able to send 18 Scouts and two Leaders. Part of the Jamboree journey is being able to fundraise to make sure no child who wants to attend is left behind. Due to the pandemic our fundraising became so much harder. Many of our families have been impacted by the pandemic due to living in a tourist/rural destination. This led to having to look else where to keep costs down for our families; enter Good360.

One important part of keeping our Scouts safe at such a big event was having hand sanitiser and wipes that the Scouts could keep in their daypacks and take with them when attending activities.

As we were lucky enough to receive well above what we need to for our group we were able to share amongst our other Scout groups in our District who were also very grateful for the donation.
