Keeping The Community Safe

In late 2021, Micah Projects received an extremely generous and kind donation from Dettol through our friends at Good360. This donation included a pallet of Dettol healthy touch instant hand sanitiser, Dettol 2 in 1 wipes and Dettol original hand sanitiser bottles. These products have allowed Micah Projects to develop PPE and COVID-19 ready isolation packs for the individuals and families we support, our volunteers and our outreach staff.

The amazing volunteers who work with Micah Projects have been busy, tirelessly packing these individual PPE or COVID-19 isolation packs using the donations from Dettol. Our teams have then been distributing to the people who Micah Projects work with including those in isolation, those sleeping rough, homeless, or at risk of homelessness.

The packs have been placed in all of our outreach vehicles to ensure that our staff are also safe and have access to much-needed sanitiser. The mobile health clinic is making great use of the donation, ensuring that the most vulnerable have access to sanitisation products.

Thanks to Dettol and Good360, Micah Projects have been able to keep so many people in the community safe during the unpredictable time the COVID-19 pandemic has brought to all of our lives.
