Original designer t-shirt for end of year concert at Wewak St school

Wewak Street School provides specialised education programs for students with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities.

At the end of every year, each class practises a song and dance for the end of year concert. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions, parents and carers could not attend in person. Instead, each class recorded their songs to deliver an extraordinary concert.

Class 7 end was planning to create tie-dye t-shirts but were on a tight financial budget. When our school chaplain presented the school with Derivan Fabric paint and markers from Good360, the students were able to design an original t-shirt design.

Students were able to record the concert and take their t-shirts home as a souvenir.

We would like to thank Derivan and Good360 for providing fabric paint and markers. We are so grateful for the constant generosity.
