Looking good in their new clothes :)

We live in such a wonderful country with so many benefits and opportunities. Yet so many people, including children, go without basic essentials.

Thanks to the support of Good360 and BIG W, we were able to distribute brand new clothing to children in need across Melbourne.

The recipients included foster children, many of whom often arrive at their "new home" with nothing more than the clothes they are wearing or, if they are lucky, a garbage bag full of belongings. We were so excited that on this occasion, many children were able to receive brand new clothes.

The adult clothing was provided to support Maori and Pacific Islander communities in Western Melbourne. Many families from our neighbouring Islands who arrive via New Zealand are not entitled to any government support even though they work, pay taxes and contribute to our economy. For those families who fall on hard times, without government support, life becomes very difficult. Good quality clothing made available for free helps to lift some of the burdens during these hard times.

Our third main recipient group was country Victoria with clothing going to areas in Gippsland to support children in school and local communities.
