Free Masks & Sanitizer For Bloodwood Tree Clients

Bloodwood Tree Association, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, is an Aboriginal controlled, not-for-profit registered charitable organisation that, for close to 45 years, has been providing services for the homeless, unemployed, those affected by alcohol and other drugs and supporting vulnerable people in need within Port and South Hedland. Services include identification support, Work Ready programs, AOD counselling and therapies, cultural mental health support, sobering up centre, patrol service, driver training, homeless breakfast, soup kitchen and Thrive tenancy support services.

Across all its services, Bloodwood Tree services and supports up to 350 clients each day. Most are in financial hardship and have limited means to provide their own masks and/or sanitiser.

Bloodwood Tree was grateful that it was matched by Good360 to a donor that provided face masks and sanitiser for our at-risk and vulnerable clients.

With the onset of COVID in Western Australia, Bloodwood Tree was grateful that the face masks and sanitiser arrived mid-February 2022. Since that time, they have been used extensively by clients, using all our services.

Thank you Good360 and your donor for your help in keeping our Bloodwood Tree clients COVID safe, when they are accessing our services!
