The Blue Door is a drop-in centre located at Ainslie Village in the ACT. We provide free meals and try to meet the many needs of our participants. At the Village we have the Winter Lodge that assists anyone straight off the street. They come in despair at their desperate situation. We feed and care for them. A friendly face can have such an amazing impact on them. The clients are permitted to stay for 2 weeks or until they decide to move into a room or take another road trip.
The brand new clothes from Good360 and Big W came in just in time as the weather is getting colder. I see a number of participants still in shorts and t-shirts as this is all they have. So the timing is perfect for some winter woollies.

About Our Charity
