The donation of LEGO kits has greatly impacted the students at Bomaderry Public. We have recently set up a LEGO wall in our library and created a LEGO Interest group to run at lunch. The kits mean that the students have a huge supply to stimulate their creativity. The LEGO Group is a hit with students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
Free play is not the only time we make use of the LEGO kits. They are a great literacy tool to help students with following directions and teachers are incorporating kits into learning sessions regularly. They are also a bit hit with our co-operative Friday Fun lessons when the older classes buddy up with younger classes for a variety of activities to finish the afternoon in a fun, positive and creative way.
Our sincere thanks go to Good360 and LEGO for an amazing product.
