Supporting homeless & at-risk Aboriginal people and their families

Here at Noongar Mia Mia, we’re the only Aboriginal-owned-and-operated Community Housing Provider in Perth. We exclusively serve Aboriginal people and their families, housing ~380 people across 90+ safe, secure & stable social housing tenancies.
Last year, we launched Australia’s first Aboriginal-led Housing First Support Service, in partnership with another Aboriginal org, supporting Aboriginal people experiencing chronic homelessness.
We’ve worked with our mob for 22 years, and we’re proud to put our shared culture at the heart of the way we work – because culture is our birthright and greatest strength.
It's been too solid to get so many donations from the Good360 team! Hand sanitiser & sunscreen were much-needed by our homeless mob, who don’t always have access to water and are exposed to the elements. We’re receiving free SIM cards, so they can keep in touch with their caseworker, stay safe and have a yarn. The Modibodi period underwear was so well-received by our female tenants, including teens. And the Christmas donations were just perfect – it’s the first time we’ve been able to give Chrissie presents to our tenancies, and it really helped build a deeper relationship between the people we support and their support workers. Some of the kids were receiving Christmas presents for the first time!
