Esperance Senior High School is a regional school located 750 kilometres south of Perth.
There is a large cohort of low-socioeconomic students, and engagement can sometimes be difficult for the student to maintain.
Our student services team are encouraged by using early intervention to build a rapport with these kids, as well as provide a calm safe space to reset when things do not always go right.
The donation of LEGO has been providing students with a creative and exciting activity, complete with help or on their own. They take their creations home to show family, start or build a small LEGO collection, as well as another one for any siblings to share and enjoy the process together.
