Care Packages for Farmers

Rural Aid has had many many types of goods from Good360 and their generous donors. We give the goods out in many ways to farmers doing it tough in this ongoing drought or flood or currently bush fires. One of the wonderful things we do that puts a smile on our faces is making up care packages.

The first things farmers gave up was luxury and gifts and fun stuff. We fill a box with different items and ship it off to farmers. We give aid of hay, water, visa cards, financial assistance, mental health counselling and more. That is all vital. But the care packages are for them, and as you can see from this huge smile, the families truly appreciate them. As do the Rural Aid staff who make them up and send them.

This young mans mum writes- No words can explain the happy tears I just cried when I opened our surprise gift package. I truly appreciate everything that you do and all the volunteers too. The kids thought it was Christmas when they saw the clothes and then we're absolutely overjoyed when they saw what was beneath. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! We are forever grateful!"
