Domestic Violence Resource Service (Mackay & Region) Inc. provides counselling services to women and their children who are affected by domestic and family violence. We also provide Men’s Behavior Programs in the Isaac and Whitsunday Regions and Emergency Relief in Mackay
With the current situation with COVID-19, we’ve been very busy and have experienced a very high increase in women and children coming to the centre due to domestic violence.
The children and adult books from Booktopia and Big W have been something extra for the women and children to take home as a well-being item amongst other things. Thank you so much to Good360, Big W and Booktopia for your wonderful donation.
