OVERCOMING BIG EMOTIONS MEANS BEING CREATIVE

Creative expression can help children ride the wave of intense emotions. Being able to express emotions through drawing, building and other methods support a safe release of unexplained feelings for some children. Thanks to Good360 and its donors, Infinity Community Solutions is able to provide a variety of tools that encourage creativity for kids.
The mechanical-coloured pencils supplied by BIC through Good360 are a delight for adults and children. There is no need to keep sharpening these pencils and so kids have longevity in use before they need to be replaced. We have enjoyed watching some of the children who received them get hours of fun from them, creating unique art or simply colouring-in pictures.
For some children, LEGO has been their inspired choice for creative expression. And we all understand the benefits of building can for children. We get to watch them immerse themselves in the activity of LEGO. Not only is it a great outlet for emotional release but it builds focus and fine motor skills.
