Closing the Digital Divide

As an organization supporting students and their education, Mid Coast Connect welcomed the provision of SIM cards from Optus. Many of the young people we work with struggle to afford data, and often don’t have enough data to use for educational purposes. This impacts their ability to effectively complete their studies and do well at school or in their training courses.
The Optus SIM cards have 12 months of free calls, texts, and generous amounts of data, which has been warmly welcomed. The team at Mid Coast Connect was glad to be able to provide some practical assistance and spread the generosity of Optus throughout our community. Thank you to Good360 and Optus for providing the opportunity to benefit from the Optus ‘Donate Your Data’ campaign.
