The natural disasters and the looming cloud of COVID-19 from 2022 still bring back feelings of anxiety, fear, helplessness and hopelessness.
However, with the support of Good360, here at Queensland Youth and Families Support Services, we have been given the ability to help those in our community.
We received sleeping bags, inflatable mattresses, antibacterial cleaner, toiletry drawstring bags, DoTerra shampoo, body wash, liquid hand soap, Schick hydrate shave gel, and QLD Maroons Outback shirts.
All of these items made a giant difference to those who were struggling to get on their feet again after the floods.
We also received pens, pencils and LEGO to give to the kids in the community, so they were able to have some artistic escapism during such a difficult time.
