Compass recently facilitated a LEGO MASTERS-themed activity that was based on Social Management, with a focus on connecting and maintaining relationships, and a sprinkle of numeracy.
Our young people were given a $1000 budget, which they could use to access small ($5), big ($10), and interesting ($50) LEGO bricks, in an effort to build a mini figure character.
Some awesome creativity and teamwork are on display.
Students applied themselves by planning their builds through discussion, keeping track of their budget by listing LEGO bricks used, and overcoming challenges by changing their ideas or reducing the size of their builds
