Optus Lifeline

One recipient is a 16-year-old girl who was kicked out of her home following a breakdown in her relationship with her mother. Her mother confiscated her mobile phone when she was evicted. She wants to remain in school and complete her HSC. The girl is currently couch surfing at a friend's place and is being assisted by her High School Well Being Team. We were able to replace her phone and provide her with one of your donated Optus sim cards which will enable her to access her school portal and use the web for study research at school. The student is coping with the help of her support systems and was very grateful to receive her Optus Phone from The Salvation Army and the Donate Your Data SIM Card from Good360 and Optus. She is still attending school, and despite couch surfing, is coping with the support she is receiving from the Well Being Team at her school, her school friends, their parents, and local agencies.
Thanks again to Good360 and OPTUS for helping this teenager continue to pursue her future, despite the hurdles.
