Change of Season

At the ECHO Neighbourhood House in Malanda, we offer various programs and projects. A program facing high demand currently is the Emergency Relief service we offer 9-2, three days a week. This program is funded, but the funds we receive cover only a fraction of the assistance required by our community. Donations like these from Good360 are vital for keeping our program afloat!
When the weather changed recently, clients were contacting us and came into the House to request school jumpers for their children. Local schools are strict on uniform policy. We did not have school jumpers, or the funds to buy them, but these black and white thermal shirts are allowed by the schools under school shirts! A wonderful solution at no cost to us - thank you!
It was such a relief to have new, clean shirts in a wide range of sizes to be able to help many families while they try to source a jumper for their children to wear to school. So far we have given out several lots of shirts to families and we still have several more shirts waiting to be given.
