Sending a Big Message!

Torquay Community House has been working hard to reinvigorate community life around the house post-COVID, and these LEGO Big Message Boards are the perfect avenue for young and young-at-heart to express themselves. Often used by students waiting for after-school programs at the house (such as tutoring or music classes), or those with additional needs requiring a little time away from the stimulation of their activity, this LEGO provides the opportunity for creative expression. As a tool for display and communication, our volunteers use them to promote upcoming events and recognition days in a more impactful format than standard posters, whilst having some fun and practicing mindfulness. LEGO brings carers together with children, creating a team environment, and positively impacting the mental health of families.
Thank you Good360 and LEGO!
