This thank you goes out to all the companies who donate to Good360.
I would especially like to thank BIG W and L'Oréal for your enormous generosity. The BIG W stores clothing donation assists us to help so many in our community who struggle financially and emotionally. Our group is self-funded and though we are very proactive we do not have the kind of funds to purchase anywhere near the number of goods supplied by Good360 and BIG W.
The thank you card that I received, shows that volunteers, Good360 and the donor company’s work truly makes a difference. Because this thank you card is so personal I will not display the complete contents of this card but will share some of the messages. “I can see people really care especially you. Your donations have made a massive difference in my hard times and dark times”.
Because we live in such a privileged country we often forget those less fortunate than ourselves. Living on disability pensions, or new start limits you’re spending on non-essentials items after rent, utilises and food are paid is very restricted. Fire and drought have also impacted our local area increasing financial difficulties and adding to the mental toll on people and their families.
To receive new clothing and some makeup improves the self-esteem of those less fortunate.
