In a remarkable display of generosity and community spirit, Hay War Memorial High School organised a special event on Wednesday, 21 June 2023, to provide essential items to their students and the wider community. The school, in collaboration with the esteemed charity organisation Good360, extended their heartfelt gratitude for their generous contribution of a wide range of clothing, shoes, stationery, and various other items for the Hay community.
The event, held within the inspiring walls of the Spirit of Anzac Centre, was a resounding success. Students from Years 7 to 12 were gifted clothing such as jeans, shirts, underwear, socks, hoodies, hats, and a variety of other items, ensuring that they have the essentials they need. In addition to clothing, stationery items such as pens and pencils, along with toothpaste, facial cream, and shoes, were made available to the students and community members.
The doors of the Spirit of Anzac Centre were graciously opened in the afternoon, inviting the entire Hay community to collect clothing and shoes free of charge. This act of kindness not only provided much-needed items but also fostered a sense of unity and support within the community.
The success of this event would not have been possible without the invaluable contribution of Good360.
