Goodies for Many

Wyndham Community and Education Centre works with young people who have disengaged from mainstream schools, newly arrived migrants and refugees, teaching them English and other members of the community who need assistance. We also offer classes such as sewing, computer lessons, Early Childhood Education and Care and run an Employment Program. We got the opportunity to pick up a pallet of mixed items from the Big W warehouse. This contained broken Easter eggs and other chocolates shared amongst the staff in the staffroom during breaks. Much appreciated by one and all when they needed a sugar hit. It also contained nappies of various sizes in damaged boxes. newborn nappies were given to Kayla who was expecting a baby in June. "Thank you very much Big W for the nappies. These will save us a lot of money when the baby arrives. Like most people, our mortgage has gone up a lot."
Boxes of damaged tissues have been put to good use in our office as have the Finish Dishwashing tablets. Other items like blow-up beds, a vacuum cleaner, and a fan were given to community members. Once again a big thank you to Good360 for facilitating us with Big W and for helping our organization and our community members.
