LEGO Helps Children through Challenging Times

When a child loses someone or something close to them it can be a very challenging time.
Strong feelings can be overwhelming for children when they experience the death of a family member, friend, or pet.
Some might get quiet and withdrawn, while others might express their feelings through challenging behaviors after they experience the loss of a friendship or friend moving away.
Using toys such as LEGO and playing to help explain what has happened is a great step, particularly if the child has moved to a new school, or changed teachers or classes.
Lions know it's important that children know and feel they are being heard and supported when they have a disability or illness.
We know it's important to find time to do enjoyable creative things together and LEGO is a great way to build and create together.
Young Nicholas, who has undergone 30 surgeries recently received a Harry Potter Chess set. He thanked the Lions, Good360, and LEGO for this very kind donation and hopes to learn more about how to play chess in the future.
