'The world is now our oyster to rebuild our self-esteem'

Vinnies were privileged to access a range of stunning, high-quality furniture items from Harvey Norman including lounges and dining suits. These items were greatly welcomed at a number of our domestic violence accommodation services, men's homelessness services, and transitional properties, where furniture was well overdue for replacement.
We received a very special letter from one recipient of a lounge and dining suite. Vinnies had assisted the family to move into transitional housing with little to no belongings. The young children were sitting on the floor to eat meals. The letter we received reflects that the opportunity of a house “was such a relief” and having furniture has helped the family shape the house into a home and enabled the writer to “kick depression out the door to the curb” confirming "the world is now our oyster to rebuild our self-esteem"
The recipient says "Please pass on our extreme gratitude to the people who have made all this possible - for they deserve to know that their help is well and truly appreciated. Harvey Norman has made a huge difference to the quality of our everyday living and future. Thank you from the bottom of my heart"
