Building Connections and Easing Anxiety

At our school, the power of play has taken on a new dimension thanks to the generous LEGO donation from Good360 It has not only sparked creativity and imagination but has also had a profound impact on fostering social skills, and friendship, and providing support for students suffering from anxiety. Through the establishment of a LEGO lunch club and the integration of LEGO therapy, our school has witnessed the transformation of young minds and the strengthening of our community bonds.
The introduction of the LEGO lunch club has proven to be a resounding success in bringing students together with shared interests and nurturing their social skills. During lunch breaks, students gather in a designated area to build and create with LEGO bricks, forming connections and friendships that transcend grade levels and social boundaries. The club provides a safe and inclusive space for students to interact, collaborate, and communicate, promoting teamwork and problem-solving skills. The power of LEGO bricks has become a catalyst for social growth, as students learn to navigate group dynamics, share ideas, and appreciate the diversity of their peers.
For students who experience anxiety, the LEGO donation has become an invaluable resource in helping them transition back to school after periods of absence. The structured approach of LEGO therapy provides a comforting and familiar environment where students can express themselves, communicate their emotions, and gradually build confidence.
