We are a large school with over 1400 students that hosts lunchtime tournaments in the library each week.
Two of the weekly tournaments are Chess and LEGO competitions,
where the students enjoy being creative. They are given a topic and then create a LEGO build in relation to the topic.
Students were very excited when they were able to build and then use the LEGO chess sets and are requesting to use them on a daily basis.
We also intend to use some of the Harry Potter LEGO sets for future builds and for prizes. It has given students a feeling of accomplishment, calm and provided lots of enjoyment.
