Domestic Violence Resource Service in Mackay is very fortunate to have received a whole pallet of books galore for our clients that attend our service from the amazing BOOKTOPIA. Domestic Violence Resource Service (Mackay & Region) Inc. provides free counseling services to women and their children who are affected by domestic and family violence. We also provide Men’s Behaviour Programs in the Isaac and Whitsunday Regions.
Thank you kindly to GOOD360 and BOOKTOPIA for the absolutely massive donations of books, we can now start a book club at our service for women who attend our counseling sessions, and there are so many, that we can also give some to those in need, so they can have their own reading material within their homes.
